What they very conveniently tend to forget though is that only the insurance when living in central London without a garage (if you manage to find any) would be crazy! I'd absolutely love a Lotus though...

To be honest mate, I think the wee clio looked epic alongside all the lotus. I bet if you got rid you would miss it so much. All you have done to your car you would def regret if it went I think.

Where did you end up mounting the remote reservoirs and where are the pics

My car is still at the garage mate that's why no pics. I will do though as soon as I get it back.
The fronts are in the engine bay covered by heat reflective material. One mounted with cable ties from the scuttle at the air box area (as far away from the exhaust manifold as possible) and the other next to the battery. The rears were fitted behind the liners for the time being as there was not enough time but they are being relocated inside the car

Yeap, it was the driveshaft like we initially thought. I'm also getting a leak sorted. Now why it failed? We really don't know, maybe it's just had it...

Booked Silverstone for the 22nd of November, it'd better behave itself!

One of those things I guess but just a major **** that you were out the country. Still booking a track day is the best thing, back on the horse as they say, or something like that!!

And with this and the other the car is now back (and I found some time to update this thread as well)

Sean@Jade did a fantastic job once again. He sorted out a leak that I had (apparently an engine bolt snapped hence the leak, he had to drill it out and replace), he changed the driveshaft with a brand spanking new one, change the gearbox oil (all covered by the warranty) and relocated the rear canisters which are now in the boot. I located the front ones in the engine bay and I covered them by heat reflective material for the obvious reasons. I might have to do some rearranging at the front but they should be fine for now.

Driving the car back from Leicester was not fun as the weather was absolutely **** therefore I didn't have the chance to enjoy it, however I went for a spin yesterday and I have to say that it feels absolutely great. Talking of fun, I've got Silverstone coming up this Sunday with fresh tyres and super mood, literally can not wait!

Ah so it was your car that was my twin when I was up jades a little while ago! I have even fitted the same wheels since then! Loved the covered a pillars and the carbon wing mirrors! Pretty jealous of the akrapovic exhaust too!
