Winding back Rear Calliper Question

When winding back the rear callipers to change the brake pads do I pump the brake pedal after I have done one side or after I have wound back both callipers?

Won't really make any difference. Just make sure you do it before you drive off.

just pull the handbrake cable arm on the caliper a few times and the piston will wind back out

hand brake off, do both (imo) then pump brake and ratchet hand brake and test slowly before going out anywhere.

that's the sort of way I have always done it - you can then make sure both running clearance/resistance is the same side to side
