White Clio 200 cup pack

Oh dear. Doesn't really give you much faith in them does it...

Superb photo Stu, that is one sexy looking 200

So got an apology from k-tec and they've given me my 5 percent off. Didn't have much to say about the spacers being damaged apart from asking how the bolts were put in the box. He seemed to think they should've been in a bag but they weren't. Anyhow.. I fitted the spacers this evening as I finished work a little earlier than expected and it sits just perfect now. Really nice wide look but light was getting low so didn't get any great pics. I will get some tomorrow once I've given the car a clean! I'm also booked in now for the 28th of this month to have adjustable top mounts, camber and full setup all being done by Jade Developments

any track time planned in October/November Stu??
just checking some powerflex bushes..have you upgraded to any on the front/rear axle?

Nope no track time booked now.. Just getting the camber done with Jade Developments and pfc expo on 6th November then probably going to stick the car in the garage and not use it until the weather gets better next year. I only upgraded to powerflex engine mounts so can't help you i'm afraid.

Took my car to Sean at Jade Developments on the Friday just gone to have new top mounts fitted with a full geometry setup. Recently i had been getting a horrible knocking from the front end when turning at slow speeds and whilst sitting waiting for Sean to fit the top mounts he called me down to show me that the balljoints were knackered and that was what most likely was causing the knocking so i had them replaced at the same time.

Have to say the car was really transformed when i drove it back home. Camber gives a much nicer feeling through the corners plus the knocking from the balljoints had completely stopped and the whole front end just feels much better now. Have to say i was super happy with the work done by Jade Developments!!

I've ordered some chequered plate for the drivers side footwell as my feet are a bit low without the padding under the pedals which will be fitted Saturday hopefully. I've also got pins ordered for the boot too which hopefully will too be fitted for saturday. Decided to remove the canards and winglets as they didn't really serve much purpose and i was going off the looks of them to be fair.

The last thing i've ordered and hopefully here and fitted before PFC expo is a CAE shifter! Can't wait to get it and get it fitted! If you're at PFC expo be sure to look by the PFC magazine stand as that's where i'll be. I'll leave the windows down so you can check the cae shifter out :tongueout: If it gets here on time that is!

I believe lower ball joints both sides. Not too sure, I think you'll have to travel out a bit either way if you wanted the conversion done. Maybe try Jade Developments.. He really does know his stuff.

One of the best looking cars on the forum! Glad you got the knocking sorted, always a pleasurable experience to get rid of one!

Also ordered a full carbon fibre cup racer spoiler which sits lower than the normal cup spoiler and mounts in the middle. Couldn't believe the weight of it! Fitting tomorrow so will get pics up when it's on
Snetterton 300 booked up for 27th Feb too

Hi stu was wondering where you got the White and Red cables where the auxs input is in the first picture?
Been looking everywhere for one, Cheers :grinning:

Sean...he does know his stuff. I've been taking my car to him for quite some time now and can't see me taking it to a different garage (no disrespect to other specialists).

Interesting top mounts mate, I can see that you can also adjust caster as well? I suspect that Sean does the tracking in the old fashioned way?

Yeah, you can play with caster which he was doing.. and yes he did it the old fashion way but the car has never felt better...

@stubones

I see you're running the Compbrake top mounts too mate.
I've got mine set with max camber which is 2.2 degrees on mine with one indent of caster set up for the next track day. Looking forward to trying that set up.

And that's the best way for doing the tracking. Laser equipment is good but you can't beat the old cords etc.
