Whats the difference between the 197 & 200 engine...??

Now i'm more used to my 197 i might go and test drive a 200 to see.

Now i know how to rev em hard :blink:

Again, like others I have only driven the one variant, in my case the 200.

For me I never considered the 197 down to one main thing. The motoring press. I know opinions are subjective etc, but trusted industry mags like EVO rated the 197 as merely above average to good, whereas they have raved about the 200 since day one.

I know we are talking engines here, but as a whole the 200 seems a better package.

Is there anyway of finding out compression ratio's, cam durations etc etc between the two so we can actually establish the differences?
