Well done matey.
I got my results last Saturday. Got the 2:1. Best feeling ever, knowing that all the hard work paid off. Im glad that I will never have to write an essay, read journals or use Harvard ****ing referencing ever again.

I graduated last year (wow, its already been 1 whole year!) so know how you feel. Just get yourselves out there as much as you can to get a job! its hard, but if you persevere you'll be ok.
Oh and as for the Harvard referencing, i do not miss it one bit. Was a haterid thing and i wish it didnt exist!

I carried a module from last year and done it this year, its not the end of the world if u cock up on 2nd year, good luck tho
Think my debt will be around the £18-20k mark. As my dad is poor, I got loads of bursaries and grants, with reduced loans to compensate, so I dont have to pay back a large percentage of my student loan
.After all this effort though, I cant see my degree helping me much in my career lol. Working in leisure is all about getting your foot in the door, working hard and brown nosing to get into higher positions. Im hoping to work my way up to management though. Whilst I was at Uni, I was Duty Managing a Leisure Centre. Ive just been taken on by another group of Leisure Centres (only casual though. I started this week and theres already some strong talks about giving me a contract
), so im going to try and do the same there and work my way as far up as possible.

Congrats mate! I have been out of uni a year and loved every minute of it! Having a degree is full of win and things do just get better and better! The past 12 months have been immense!
I worked full time while doing my degree so I don't have much debt, even after a 4 year course!

I admire anybody who goes to Uni and sticks at a good course (none of this ''Media Studies'' b0ll0cks), if I'd have gone to Uni I'd have either died of STDs or drank myself into a Coma so fair play to those who do it.
I went down the A-Level and apprenticeship (Engineering) route, had I left school a year later then I'd have liked to have gone into one of the Motorsport based degrees that weren't available until the year AFTER I left and had started my apprenticeship. D'oh!!!

Mine was working for a company manufacturing HGVs and trailers (www.cartwright-group.co.uk) as well as specialist things such as cash vans, race transporters (BAR car, parts, and hospitality trailers), one-off projects (trailer to carry A380 Airbus wings for their prototype A380). It covered everything relating to that particular line of work; hydraulics, pneumatics, woodwork, fibreglass, refrigeration, auto-electrics, understanding technical drawings, welding and fabrication including using Plasma cutters etc.... So it was pretty comprehensive really. We'd get a rolling chassis and have to work off the plans doing everything from the ground up. Great job, but not a great place to work, I'd go back to it for a different company.
