Really fun run out with @Big Ben and Mrs M this afternoon. Roads were mostly clear and the weather held off perfectly. Love how small the Lotus looks in this photo.

Thanks a LOT to Ben for letting me have a go in his car. My first drive of a Megged Clio and yep, I can see why you've all done it. It gives the car the grunt it deserves. Really loved it. Also was really impressed with the feel from the LSD. Seemed to be set up absolutely perfect for the car.

Finally, Mrs M seems to be seriously considering a full aero upgrade. Fingers crossed...

Pav, I LOVED Ben's Megged car. Can see why you've all done it now. Well, ok, I could see why before, more power is always good. But it felt so right. Really impressed. And the LSD was pitched perfectly too. I now have a good idea what your car is like and it's very good indeed!

Ha, less said the better mate!

And no, I drove Ben's car but he didn't take me out in it. I did follow it though, and it's clearly a significant improvement over the standard engined car. Would love the power but I'm NA all the way.

So, as some of you know, I'd love a full aero kit but Mrs M really doesn't want a spoiler. I'm trying to persuade her that the Sprint spoiler is really subtle and she'll soon get used to it. Personally, I'd prefer the Sprint over the Cup wing anyway so I'd be happy.

But yeah, I think she might be starting to see the light. I'm hoping she is! I did these rough mock ups (thanks to @-Eddie- for the AWESOME photos) and I think it looks pretty damn good, Just hope they're good enough to persuade her.

No brainer to me. What do you guys think?

Front splitter, yes, along with the sprint spoiler, a la @Big Ben, but not the skirts. Maybe if the skirts didn't have the 'wing' at the end and were more like the mk7 Golf ones, I think Maxton make them for the Clio? Not sure about the quality though.

We've discussed going Sprint and splitter only too. But I really like the effect the skirts have of making the car look lower. Very much.

Agree about the little wing but it's functional I guess. The Maxton ones look ok in photos but up close they're really cheap looking and clearly cheaply made too. Definite no go on that.

There is the option of just having some made. Would be pretty easy to do and they could be made out of carbon then to match the diffuser...

Long way to go yet!
