Good productive day today and all but 2 lines are now connected up. Unfortunately I need about another 1metre of hose so should be all connected up next week.







I’ll get some better photos of the internal lines tomorrow.

Looking good, this I guess is also a future proof if you’re going bigger power if/when you forge. Otherwise standard fuel pump I think runs at its max around 340hp.

Exactly mate. It’s completely future proofed now. The next engine build I’d like to have it running circa 350bhp but this set up is good for around 500-600bhp. The main reason for this investment is to ensure I no longer suffer with fuel surge and starvation, something I’ve had repeatedly on a number of Park circuits. The return line and regulator should now maintain the pressure at the tips of the injectors whilst the swirl pot will hold plenty of fuel so surge should be eliminated.

No problem on the template. Someone else has used it and found it to be very useful.

No decided against a set in the end mate. I really like them but the way I looked at it was they’re over £1k a set which is fine but if I wreck one on track then it’s more expense plus I don’t really need an expensive set as the car sits in the garage 90% of the time.

I’ve ordered a set of Rota SS10 which were on a deal and are 7.75kg a wheel so very light. Really like the looks of them. Should have them on by next weekend when they arrive next week.

So today I wired up the fuel pump and finished the pipe work and it’s alive again! Really pleased to have it starting again.

I’ve noticed the battery playing up for a while and not holding charge. I believe it’s the alternator as it’s making a bit of a noise, so will need to look into that.

Thankfully the car is ready for EFI on the 18th.

I can’t wait to see the wheels on Iv been tempted with them for sometime and now Iv had confirmation of my dealership I might have to order a set lol
