Just thought id upload a video of my tack car.

Its on its start up map and hasnt been to the mappers yet for its full map but hoping for 170bhp which will be enough to beat the clio I reckon.

You would have had Clubsports if you could have got rid of yer V3s for a decent amount :thumbsup:

We have one semi-modified car, you've got pretty much 1 hardcore car (KA) and one pretty awesome little road racer (200).

So I win that argument :liambo:

minter, put a 1.8 16v in my mk3 escort about 3 wks ago after not using it for 11 yrs, before that it had a 176 bhp carb turbo in it and 10 mls to £10 of fuel was no good even all those years ago !

Very nice, Ka is a brilliant little tool so long as the rot stays away. I would love to but an ITB'd 1.6 Zetec-SE in one, but I guess the Zetec-E is that much cheaper.

Is it a 2.0?

You familiar with Jamie Rigby's Zetec engined XR2? He gets great power out of that.

haha its not as easy as the guides make out haha. Ah well its in now. It's got hi-spec 4 pots always has done I've got a thread of the build on here somewhere I'll dig it out

yeah lucky enough the shell is mint (was my nans before) and only done 17000 miles.

Yeah 2.0 blacktop on ATP throttle bodies with a custom 4-2-1 manifold and exhaust and omex ecu :group:

The exhaust fell off one day when mum was driving so after ordering a mongoose replacement it was fitted

comparing to a standard ka exhaust:



And then it had gaz coilovers all round which helped massively with conering and then a BMC CDA filter and that was the end of it on the road so it went into the garage:







New wheels in vauxhall fitment to widen up the track and due to wanting oz super t's




Magnecore leads:

It was a 1.3!!! when I tracked it before. You don't need loads of power to have fun! just a good chasis and suspension setup!!!

I was 16 when I started with this car!! hence a lot of excitement over some small things I copied most the pics from a ford forum just straight copy
