Thank you it’s been a long time in the making but the end is getting closer

I don't know whether to feel motivated or just to put my Clio up for sale! :astonished:

Fantastic work, would love to see this in the flesh sometime in the future.

Not much happening but have a lot of new parts here and on the way.

The interior is not stripped bare again ready to go back to paint.

I was never really happy with the cage colour and with adding air jacks it’s going to need paint around them anyway.

Here’s a few pics of the nee bits waiting to go in.

I started to design the mounts ready for the air jacks

I have just bought a 3D printer so will get them printed up this weekend and trail for them them

Managed to get all the goodies here from Nuke performance.

The quality is something else I will get a write up on each part soon.

This is the 100 micron inline fuel filter with bracket.

Next up is the dump valve with V band

I really wanted a clean look in the bay so went with the raising rate fuel pressure regulator.

The quality of these tanks is something else a lovely neat catch can with a bottom drain along with a filter and dipstick.

Iv always waned some air jacks and nuke have brought out these amazing jacks that do away without the hassle of carrying big high pressure bottles to track.

These will work of standard 8-10 bar pressure so a standard compressor will work just fine!

I will be getting some holes cut for these over the next week or 2.

Another delivery today was my head back from
MS custom engineering. Max has done a lovely job of porting it along with cutting new valve seats.

He also fitted my supertech valves and valve springs.

After many hours of back and forth with Nick at Pure motorsport we have decided to get the ball moving on a custom inlet manifold to run throttle bodies [emoji51]

This we be Jenvey throttle bodies onto a custom plenum with the correct mounting for my intercooler set up.

Not many pictures yet but should be here early January so the final engine set up is now confirmed;

•Ported head
•Uprated Supertech valves with Inconel exhaust valves
•Cat cam valve springs
•Full built with new valve guides and stem seals
•Pure Motorsport breather plate
•Jenvey throttle bodies into a custom plenum running throttle cable (this may change to DBW)

Our own supercharger set up with Rotrex c30-94 charger.

Bottom end complete refresh
•PEC rods
•Wossner or JE pistons (yet to decide)
•New oil jets
•New oil pump
•All brand new sensors on complete engine

All the bolts will be new socket cap 12.9 zinc coated bolts.

I can’t wait to get this in.

Once the car is closer to being built up il try and get a parts list together.

As always all parts used are available to purchase direct from myself.

Absolutely loving this build! Have you decided on a CR and pulley size?

Compression ratio will be kept standard. Pulley size to be confirmed we have a few different crank pulleys and charger pulleys to try

Unless you change the crank pulley I think the only option is a 110mm pulley otherwise you end up over speeding the charger!

I know we have 4 different combos that won’t over spin the charger currently so will see what works best really

Fantastic build this and thanks for taking the time to keep this thread alive. Supercharger and throttle bodies...sound alone on this would be unreal!

Thank you it’s been a long build (mainly down to
Me always wanting to up the spec to the best possible

Hopefully 2021 will see it finished if I can fit time
In around building everyone else’s clios [emoji23]

Well not updated this in awhile.

Few updates on the engine.

First up my custom Jenvey throttle bodies with plenum Iv been working with Nick at pure motorsport for a while to make this work but proof will be when we get it on the dyno

Now the bigger update the sadev has been sold and a new sequential box will be here soon which is coming from maxi motorsport.

With the new box being able to take up to 600bhp

We have decided to go down the route of using a c38 charger from rotrex over the smaller c30 that most run.

We have the new bracket almost finished and will hopefully get into a 3D print this week.

We have sent the engine off once again to be built by DY engines (these guys really know their stuff)
We feel they can get the most from our new engine set up.

The car has gone back to paint to have the underside redone and the the inside to be repainted.

Before it went to paint we fitted a nice little upgrade of a pedal box

There is a few more adjustments to make and the pedals need changing once I get the seating position sorted.

The last part of the fuel system arrived and its the custom lid we had made by Nuke for our surge tank

Glad you didn't sell Matt, it's gonna be great.
What power are you hoping for with the ITB setup and the C38?

Not really sure just yet, around 400bhp id be happy but should be capable of more.

I think it will be sat around for awhile. We have a lot of parts we are waiting on and lots of custom parts.

Is that a jenvey turbo plenum with some machining to move the diffuser to the front? What’s the expected benefits of running itb’s with the supercharger or is it as much a cause we can and it’s cool thing which is absolutely cool with me

Yes your correct. Umm it’s our demo car so kind of like balls to it let’s go all out. Not 100% sure on what it will make but feel it will be better than the oem inlet.
