Spring question

Hi all I have a snapped front coil on my r27 question is are the springs the same as a 197 ?? Thanks in advanced

There are a few types of springs it all goes by the colour marks on them if they are genuine ones. The 197 springs are different diameters at the top as the Clio 200 has smaller top mounts. The 197 std spring are blue/green and the 197 cup option springs are blue orange.

Buy genuine springs or normal after market upgrade ones as normal car parts places will give you the wrong ones only buy non genuine parts from the genuine part numbers do not go by the description or that they fit a 197 Clio.

Thank you for your advice I’ll pull the old ones off and see what colour is on them many thanks and yeh I’m be getting Renault ones cheers bud

I'm pretty sure it will be Cup spec as it's an R27.
