Silverstone Edition 200 - AST 5100

Are you planning to change the harness rear mounting points? because thats why to steep of an angle for them, rest is looking good though!
Yeah I know the angle is too much at the moment. Hoping to get a safety devices half cage and mount them to that

Back from the trip to the Nurburgring. Weekend was hectic and didnt go on track but got in 25 laps during the trip.

The car was treated to an alignment and corner weighting by Manthey/Raeder. They rasied up the front and lowered the rear mainly. Left to right balance was also done and an alignment.

Direzzas and the ASTs are so good on the ring. Rear suffer from a lot of pickup but not much I can do about that.

Nice lap!
Cheers.

On the final TF of the trip finally got some clear runs. Time to be made up on braking and being more commited in sections but its TF and I dont want a huge repair bill. Turned out the mini carousel a bit early and was right over on two wheels. No photogropher to catch it though.

Hi,

Had the car for just over a year now and thought i'd share it.

Got the car from K-tec racing with only 16k on the clock. I had them do a few things before collection. They fitted and Akrapovic Evo, Indcution kit, remap, short shifter, cup wing and a re-trimmed wheel. Drove down from Aberdeen to collect it and drove it all the way back home without a hitch.

Recently had the major water pump/timing belt service and also decided to fit some 330mm brake discs from Reyland motorsport. Also swapped out my Michelin PS4 for some PS cup 2s, not great in the wet or when cold but amazing once up to temperature.

Taking it on a 3000 mile European road trip this Monday coming so we will see how she performs!

looks great, congratulations

Replaced both the engine and gearbox oil today. They have both only done 2300 miles but thats also including 25 laps of the Nurburgring

Went with ELF evo 900 oil for the first time.

Gearbox oil was Redline MTL 75w 80, the same ive been using since I got the refurbed LSD box.

Gearbox oil looked a bit glittery. Not sure if this wee bit of glittering is to be expected? The two colours in the oil are becasue there is some engine oil mixed in.

Epic pic! Would really like another silver one myself.

Bit of shininess in the oil is fine. Chunks would be an issue

How much was the alignment/corner weighting at Raeder if you don't mind me asking? Thanks

It was pretty spendy from what I remember. Probably best just going to the likes of 24/7 performance or the crown. Ring toys also know there way around a Clio

Weekend project.

wanted the option of running a non splitter set up so had to make a custom udertray to use when not using the splitter.

Made out of 2mm ali sheet.

Custom designed and printed some brackets for the front edge ustilising the old mounting points for the standard undertray. Incorporated some nuts into the print for the bolts.

Used a couple quick release fasteners using the rad support bar for mounting them.

Just tucks up behind the front lip nicely.

Waiting for some other fasteners to arrive for mounting the bumper on the slam panel

Final little tidy up on the bumper.

Fixing points on the slam panel were all a bit useless. Threads were wrecked on one of the centre fixing points and couldnt get a plug to replace the two outer parts.

Drilled out the two centre points then heated up and pressed in a couple M6 threaded inserts. Easy and cheap if anyone else has the same issue.

Outers I used camloc quarter turn fasteners. Made little aluminium plates for it too

Might 3D print a new bonnet switch bracket. If anyone has anything they want 3D printed feel free to let me know.
