I saw that pic on Renault Sport.co.uk and fell in love, nearly added the stickers too, but the wife said it was too chavvy for a 35 year old:angry:
Pic in gallery 'old to New'. Better pics coming next week when I actually pick it up.

I was close to picking black too!

But i wouldnt have had the Anthra pack, would have kept it all the same colour...

But as much as i like the look of black cars, they get on my wick with keeping them clean

Know what you mean, my 197 is black and thats a nightmare, especially living by the sea with seagulls!! Opted for the diamondbrite option this time so hopefully cleaning will be a far easier task.............or at least it will be for the polish guys down the road:smiley:

I had diamond brite on my previous car Fiesta ST and i only had to wash the car and it just gleamed 8)
Only thing i didnt like about it was having to use the conserver once a month to maintain the diamond brite protective glaze.
I,d say go for it im having it on my RS200.

One of those things where you seem to have a mixed bag of good and bad reviews... fingers crossed

I went for FF200 deep black, plus Cup Pack (something that you should have without fail), standard cup wheels (I love them, but I know a lot of guys dont on here) the upgraded stereo with bluetooth etc, parking sensors (for the wife!!! as she scratched the rear bumper twice on my 197 and I dont want a divorce just yet, I just wish they had sensors for alloys too!!), folding mirrors, extra tinted rear windows, anthracite pack, and diamondbrite.
Stuck with standard seats as i like them, and wasnt prepared to spend a grand on something that seems to wear after a month!
JAXX - Diamondbrite cost £299 inclusive of VAT.
Toys - Snooper Sat Nav and Road Angel being hardwired in today ready for pick up, and currently researching front parking sensors/automatic garage door opener (if you know what i mean!!) If anyone has any experience of this last toy please let me know as so much conflicting info on net.

jaxx,
The dealer offered me Gard X vehicle protection (presume same as diamondbrite) on its own cost £299.
Also total loss cover- which will pay the difference between the current market valuations to the manufacturer's list price, giving you back an equivalent new vehicle, now they priced that at £399 for 3 years cover
I was offered both for £450.

Great spec rickyk :thumbup1: you say cup pack something that you should have without fail, surely that's only if you intend to take your motor on track day's etc ???
Recaro's seem to wear after a month ??? :blush:hmy: hope this is,nt the case in the RS200,s are they the same as in the 197's ?

Yep, i got the the same deal for both too   The GAP insurance is good, i know someone who (unfortunately) had to use it. Saved him 7grand for the matter of a couple of hundred! :thumbup1:

Gard X is a similar product i think? Such is 3M Scotchgaurd...

Can this become the official waiting thread for RS200's?

Cup Pack should have been fitted on 197's and 200's as standard in my opinion. Just makes the car far more planted on the road, and I have never tracked my car.
To be honest not sure if the 200 recaros are the same as the 197 recaros, i just recall reading lots of posts from guys on here who have had wear and tear issues which proved hard to resolve with Renault under warranty.

Jaxx reading your post on diamond brite i guess those who have responded know what they are talking about, me im just one of those who cant be bothered polishing/waxing etc for hours, i just wanna wash my car and for it to look nice and if that gard x can help with that then great  as i said before i had it on my fiesta ST and ford dealer did a great job on it (hope Renault dealer do the same)
Scratches/dents etc that i notice when cleaning my car really annoys me cause some careless person has opened their car door onto mine or brushed past it in a carpark makes me wonder whats the point in all that hard work trying to keep the bodywork immaculate, now i just wanna wash n go

rickyk, yeah prehaps i should have requested a test drive of a cup pack clio to compare it to a standard clio :001_rolleyes:
Hopefully makers of recaro were made aware of the wear and tear issues with their seats for the clio 197 and have sorted it out for the Clio 200 (no doubt Renault have made them aware of the issue) i hope :001_unsure:

Hi, have ordered a White 200 ff + cup pack+recaros+black speedlines+cup spoiler+stereo+cornering lights+mirrors. Does the cup pack include the quicker steering rack? Also can u sync iPhone with Bluetooth stereo? And finally can u sync two mobiles to stereo I.e. iPhone and nokia? Expecting car mid march due to all the extras I've specd so really lookin toward to it. Cheers Ben ps still not sure on gettin the cup spoiler cos it's not subtle is it but do like the cup racer look.

Nice spec!
Not sure about iPhone question as I dont own one, but you can pair upto 5 phones on the upgraded stereo with bluetooth. I believe the car does come with the quick steering rack as you have opted for the Cup suspension.
