return of "new" RB1

thought i would just do abit on my megane i have had for awhile

noticed rear skirt was a bit loose so took it apart and resecured it!


didnt have it long and fitted 4x new michelin pilot super sports

i then had some poor brake feel/bite from the brakes so was just going to change the pads...but in the end fitted these

fitted a short shift a months back as well....not a 5minute job as the instructions implied!

also fitted some +130% bulbs and silver indicator bulbs along with debadging the rear "megane" off

been to scotland in it and gave it a bit of an exercise!!!

How much did the s/shifter shorten the throw by ?

What discs are those? Godspeed? I have been toying with the idea of the short shifter, how are you finding it?

about 30% - the change from 1st to 2nd is vastly improved & one of the reasons i did it

cheaper and more reliable lololololol

i dont think the jaggg would have like being driven how i did rb1 and for the porker well i did scotland last year in it and it was fast everywhere and did 42mpg going up there but to be honest it wasnt anymore of a thrill!

yep godspeed brakes - seem well made and the pf pads work well with little dust coming off...

shorts-hifter a good mod but not as easy as they made out on the instructions - far more wiring/looms in the way - recommnded
