Renault Clip from AliExpress - Recommendations?

The bottom box refers to access to the Renault server files for reprograming the ECU I'm reasonably sure but I can't prove it that the nano box can reprogram as long as you have the program file which I think Renault can give access per hour or per day as dealers will have for a cost. You will need a reprograming code generator but they are available and normally used to reprogram keys.

A slight warning with this. If you use you laptop for other diagnostic tools installing the linked clip earlier might break it. I use INPA for BMW and it no longer picks up the car when plugged in

Hi. Could someone who owns the VCX Nano rvdiag, tell me if this will be able to code out my airbag lights. The previous owner installed Recaros.

Cheers.

I was wondering if anyone else with the one linked earlier could shine some light.

I bought this ages ago and installed it but never used it. I went to use it for the first time and I get a popup with a message about the license expiring/expired. There is a number after the message which almost seems like it means I can use it that number of times more before reactivating (I’m guessing a bit though).

Is this message normal because it’s not genuine and is cracked? Or do I actually need to reactivate it? I couldn’t find anything in the menus about reactivating.

Clip isn't super intuitive to use either lol. If anyone knows of any good vids or tutorials that would be a bonus as well.

I got a cloned Chinese knock off Clip back in 2020. When it was cracked properly it did not need to be reactivated and just worked every time the software was fired up on the laptop - there was no pop up or other messages about reactivating it.

I did have problems with one version of the Clip software which I could not activate so I kept installing, using it for 5 days or so, and then having to uninstall it and then reinstall the software. But, the problem was solved when I did properly crack the software.

There was fairly good instructions how to install clip that came with the one linked here and it had a activation code generator and I followed it all but once I connect to a car I do get that message, annoyingly I have to go out to a car to see what it says exactly

This is the message I get.

I tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling. Interestingly I didn't have to activate CLiP again, it just worked but I still get the popup.
Windows shows the VCI driver as a trojan virus when reinstalling it :worried:

I wonder if this being expired is limiting what I can do with CLiP. I was testing today on a friends Master 3 and on my Megane 275 and I have no option to clear codes (unless I'm blind). I can read some statuses and see different codes. On the Megane I think it expects the modules to be different as it doesn't get a response from what it expects but gets a response from modules it doesn't know and shows them as specific CAN types. Version 219 of CLiP should work with a 2016 Megane.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but don't you need to disable network connectivity (internet access) and the Windows AntiVirus when using the cracked versions of CLiP?

If at any point you've re-enabled your network settings to connect to the internet again, or haven't disabled your A/V and Firewall, then you'll have issues with the activation/keygen etc...
