RC Racing Grp. N exhaust

Hi guys!
How many of you are running the Spain-made RC Racing exhausts? Seams to be quite common in southern Europe to run on 197´s? I´ve got a good price for it and thinking about buying.

As you see it is possible to run it in different setups.

Nice system by the looks of it, price seems good too, not heard anyone on here having got one of them either!

Lol yes, but what about using with the mid box and keeping a catalyst, should keep things a little quieter?!

At the moment Im only thinking of buying the back box. Shouldn't be too loud compared to like KTR exhaust I believe.

Yeh, I'd imagine it being no louder really if just using a backbox, I'd imagine if you kept the cat and midbox the noise would be more or less ok, can't imagine it being illegal anyway.

even group n stuff is to a noise limit !

I thought the original manifold and pre cat was one unit? By the illustration it would suggest it's clamped on?

I think it is illegal to wear ear plugs yes lol.

The 421 stainless manifold is goin on tommorrow too so it will be a little more raspy I hope.

(the mrs saxo not a Clio btw)

Now I´ve ordered the RC Racing exhaust, took the complete midpipe without silencer and the rear section Group N type. Waiting delivery in about 2 weeks.

Hi mate,

are you still waiting for the exhaust, or already got it? I plan to buy RC Racing exhaust when my current exhaust will need to be replaced. I would probably choose Group N rear section and midpipe with silencer. I do not have enough courage to take straight midpipe because of noise regulations 8) and also have little worries about loosing back pressure in the exhaust without midsilencer. From where did you order it (PM)?

I ordered my exhaust through Reichard Motorsports in Germany. I sent an email to RC Racing and they recommended them, http://www.reichhard-motorsport.com . After the payment the exhaust arrived 2 weeks later so pretty good deliverytime too as Reichard dont stock these. Shipping by DHL, the package was quite bad wrapped into plastic as picture below can tell you.
Well pleased with service from the retailer and answers to my questions before I ordered.

Here is some pictures of the exhaust, pretty good welded together actually and overall quality seems ok. Mounted it within an hour with perfect fitting. The clamps included was perfect, long ones which was easy to get tight and closely.

After fitting I fired it up and the car sounds so f*ckin amazing now, pops and bangs a lot, pretty raspy sound and very loud. A bit hard to hear inside a garage as the resonance makes it louder but I'm very pleased with the sound and quality of the exhaust!!! Just cant wait to take a test drive but the bloody snow is still laying on the ground and have more mods to make to the car before I will take it out.

Nice pictures. I can imagine the incredible sound inside the garage. Reichard Motorsports is the same company they recommended me to order from. I am courious about your driver´s impressions. Hope you will post them here then. 8)
