R/B 19/05 Nurburgring prep !

Small update .

Had the car back from Renault after having the following done under warrenty

. D/s rear speaker replaced
. Steering arm replacer o/s/f
. Both front wipers replaced
. Wheels balanced
. Headlight covers (rear) replaced all four would have cost £15 each to buy !
. No 4 coil pack replaced
. Squeeking from heater fan when on number 1
. Tracking
. Sticking handbrake morning strip and clean rear calipers
. Spare key coded to car
. Cigarette lighter unit replaced

All for free . Going back on the 25th for a few more bits .
after the initial poor service following in me making a formall complaint to Renault uk the service has picked up massivly they will fix even the tiniest thing for free.great service

And it's got 11 month warenty left so I should be covered if there are any
more faults.

I hope there are no more , but then this is a 197 bless it.

Ohh also well excited as my coilovers get fitted on the 24th of this month

looks sic even without the coilovers, do you have a picture showing that carbon front intake fitted?

looks like a great project! A CG-Lock has been reported to reduce lap times by the same amount as 50BHP... just because you are not sliding around... would like to set up a group buy as this bit of kit is ideal for the Clio 197.

Ohh I do love a bargin..... Couple of days ago someone posted a link to a spoiler on eBay off a smashed up cup . Spoiler looked a little rough as the ends were snapped (the little plastic bits which bolt onto the end) however I saw through this as I knew these where avalable from ktech . Called them up offered them £40 he said yeh !!! £40 for a cup spoiler heeellllll yeh !

So this arrived today




the spoiler in itself the main body is fine really suprised . It's only the ends which need replacing will be ordering some Carbon fibre ones from ktech tomorow ! Also dropping it of at the body shop tomorow for painting .

yeh it's got a few surface scratches but needs painting anyway so not really an issue

This car looks top mate, I really want to do a track day but never done one so i don't know how to go about doing it, can't wait to see pics of it on coilovers! Did u notice a difference with that cg lock? I was looking at them a while back but wasn't sure
