PITAs GW 200 FF Cup

Minor update.

I’ve fitted a gas strut kit for the bonnet, they should come with one from the factory!

I also managed to source another set of Ultraleggeras that I had refurbished in gloss black and fitted some part worn DZ03 ready for Donington on Wednesday :grimacing:

*Suj managed to source me another set of Oz Ultraleggeras :tearsofjoy:

As Adam said, where's the strut from, I always try and put them on my cars!

Have a good track day dude, can't wait to see the pics!

Haha was only playing, happy to help, like you I'd want 2 of the same wheel sets for my OCD, just shocked a set popped up, as normally they don't!
Hopefully it stays dry and you can use the DZ03G, best tyre I've used!

Cheers bud . Added to the never ending list of stuff I want . @suj doesn't help with that ... [emoji1787]

I’m sure they’ll be good. Know quite a few lads which run them.
I can’t bring myself round to paying that much for a set :tearsofjoy:

I bagged this used set for £215 off a local bloke who runs an MX5 in Britcar. He’s got all sorts in his garage - nearly new R888, NS2R, ZZR etc

As previously mentioned I had a track day booked at Donington on the 4th, what an epic day! She was flawless and amazing - she blew my mates mind. The Direzzas were on another level and are definitely going to be the “go-to” tyre. The only issue on the day was a couple of studs coming loose so more loctite is required this time!

You're not the first person to have issues with studs coming loose . Mine have plenty of loctite and a few ugga duggas but it gets me worried [emoji85]

Did you use an impact gun when you changed your wheels??
Yes, stupidly! I left the spigot rings on the wheels when they were refurbed and they came back powder coated. Rather than swapping the rings over from my road wheels I just impacted them on - probably breaking the loctite bond. Lesson learned :drunk:

I had the exact same issue when I was at the ring the other week.
I’ve had studs in for 2 years and never had an issue until I decided to use the impact.
