Well can't deny that there is a bit of an excitement growing inside of me..still long time to go though..
My mechanic will carry out the conversion..he seems confident so I will leave it in his capable hands..

stay tuned for more..there are a few 225 engines i have my eye on..gotta see which one comes with the best warranty..

ok so im officially an owner of this lovely looking engine..megane 230 with 56k miles on the clock..its being delivered to my mechanic's garage for inspection..hope it passes... i have 30 days warranty so it needs to be done asap really..it is fully working and it was purchased from a reliable seller with 100% positive feedback..

also purchased driveshafts today..few more bits and we are good to go :excited:

the engine just popped up a few days ago so I consulted the purchase with @Luke_197 and he said "Go for it"...kind of didnt have a choice

ok did a bit of a scrubbing today to remove s***t from the inside of the gearbox..not perfect but im happy with the result...
also my turbo got some TLC too..

cant believe it myself tbh Chris..still feels a bit surreal..think i'll know for sure when she's handed to my mechanic...still need a few bits so if you come across any,please let me know...

What did you clean the inside of the gearbox casing with ?

Nice !!!

Red-diesel is also really good for that job....we have it at work in a de-greasing box set-up.

I saw the colour of some of the liquid in the bottom of casing and wondered if you were doing the same
