im off these 2 weeks..gotta go to see my mechanic tmr as he should be doing my aux belt..might have nothing on this wednesday..out this thursday and friday..then maybe this weekend or next week..let me know when you are in Manchester and we could meet somewhere..

had my aux belt done today..had a really good look/check what the chassis is like..really good nick given its 9 years old..flexis look good,the torque link looks like it had been replaced before i got it 21 months ago..
there is 1 thing that keeps bugging me though..cant get my exhaust right..there is always a knock or a weird noise coming from around it..really not happy about it.well i guess i'll have to live it..it's been up on the ramp 10 times at least and still there is always one more to be discovered ..

looks like too much hassle...like them the way they are..might finally take it for a spin tmr..we deserve it..

Mine rattles as well! On the rear nearside when it gets really hot and going a ton... Been on the ramp 3 times to have it fixed it hangs perfect but still does it!! Argh.

If you find a fix let me know. I think its the diffuser heat shield but you can't buy them separately.

the thing is when i manage to sort 1 out there is always another one round the corner..the only way to stop this is to get Akra i believe..
had to file a bit of the actual body frame away right above the tail pipes..thats where it was knocking..but i know that if i take it for a spin today i'll discover another one :bash:

Not sure on that one mate, mine has been modified to hang exactly like the Akra system and is dead straight.. still rattles lol. On track its constant! ARGH at least some one else can feel my pain haha.

what a cracking day I've had..met with @litchy at the Krispy Kreme car park near the TC..he sort of left me thinking hard...after a quick chat he kindly offered me to go for a spin in his beast..still cant stop smiling..what a drive..that car can eat tarmac for breakfast and it handles so awesome..just a perfect machine..
for all of you out there considering a meg conversion-GO FOR IT..these cars lack one thing and that is power..

so a little of an update..








the plastic around the mirrors will be further spray painted in gloss black...

so today has been quite productive..managed to fit the rear mirrors back on the car and cleaned the TB ..just some pics..





im quite happy with the result as the plastic needed a bit of TLC..
