Ollie's AG 200 Progress thread (new wheels)

Did some brake shopping today and came back with better parts than i was intending on buying but i couldn't resist myself  Discs needed changing as they have come to the end of their life time. I went for Tarox in the end, was about to get the 330 P.Friction setup but i decided to allocate more money towards the pads and get something special.

Tarox discs:

will report back on the setup, as far as i know not many have tried these pads on here.

Oooh, that's a fine bit of shopping!

Interested to hear how you find the Endless Pads, they've a big reputation.

Heard great things about the endless pads on meganes. Hope they're not too noisy seeing as they're track pads!

Car looks amazing. Really like the vinyl on the front bumper. Suits it well. Oh and the tow strap looks the best fitting and least out of place ive seen on any car!!

After having the brakes fitted for over a week, i must say i am very impressed with them. Haven't managed to go on track with them yet but i went down the San Bernadrino pass yesterday and they exceeded my expectations, zero fade and very sharp!

On a side note, i was about to sell the Clio today but i think it's going to stay a bit longer, i still love it to bits and gets so many complements from random people that it's a pleasure to own it

And lastly a cheap and ugly mod but hopefully effective  a piece of felt under the parcel shelf to stop it from rattling :

Dropped the car off to Renault today for it's service and full check up before the warranty expires at the end of this month so it should come back 100% healthy

Next up i'm going to fit some Eibach springs until i buy some coilovers, carbon spoiler tips and probably a remap. After xmas i intend on having the KTR induction kit that is due to be released and a set of OZ Ultras

Clio came back from it's service/full check up with no faults apart from worn rear pads. I've purchased these :

they will be on in the next two weeks along with some carbon and coilovers

Superb. Though, the internet seems to say that the 3000s are horrendus for driving normally on.

ohh really? i didn't do my homework then :worried:

whats the issue with them? I'm running endless pads on the front which aren't really for road use so i gathered that these would be a good match for the rear...
