Get some decent punches to begin with and a hefty hammer I used these punches http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/300906028175?_mwBanner=1 and a lump hammer which did the job easily. Just be careful when swinging the hammer around.

Managed to get the passenger side out with a lump hammer, but it just bent the pins on the drivers side. Ended up cutting the pins with a grinder and then I was able to knock them out.
New set of mrpink's pins have gone in
