Just thought I'd update the progress thread. As most of you know the car is up for sale so in preparation for the sale I decided to tidy her up a bit.

Those of you that use your cars know that the front end suffers really badly from stone chips especially the black porn tash and the painted bit above. To remedy this I had the whole bumper refreshed and repainted in glacier white and the porn tash and blade redone in black.

The front end now looks like new and has made a massive difference to the presentation of the car.

Whilst we were at it I decided to smarten up the engine bay with the left over paint, not fitted it yet but I'll get it done on Monday.

Got a few people coming next week to view the car so think they'll be really impressed. Would be great if the car stayed in the community so here is the ad for those that have not seen it.

I do stand by what I said in that write up but in all honesty my Clio is in a different league than a 200T so if I went for one it would feel like a step back. Had I never megged the Clio it may have been an option.
 
Yeah would be a step back, most average-fast cars would, isn't that the challenge though, getting it past the standard you've set?

You do have a very valid point, it would be a challenge. Just got a lotus itch though and it needs scratching before I'm too old to get in and out of one. Got my eye on a few mods already just got to find the right car, looked at a few but not the one I want as yet.
 
Well, thats it, do it whilst you can.

The 200t is more subtle anyway, 5 doors, ideal for when you can't get in and out of the lotus haha.
 
I didn't suggest a downgrade, the 300bhp clio was once 200hp, until it was modded.

lotus's are nice cars also, but they're not hot hatches are they.
 
Just thought I'd put up a few final pictures before this progress thread comes to it natural end.

Gave the car a full detail with [MENTION=522]Robo_#1[/MENTION]. Then fitted the new engine cover.
