So a little progress,

I fitted the megane shifter, to find the reverse lift sleeve doesn't fit the megane shifter. So found one on eBay and hope to have it soon.

Whilst stripping my driveshafts I found one of the outer c.v's had the end of the thread ruined by hammering the nut on the end probably whilst removal.

So Matt @trackspec197 had a pair of shafts he wasn't using so I give them a quick clean up tonight.



He Also gave me the only prototype brake ducts with an extra outlet, which I'm going to run a duct to my air filter for some extra cold air.

Just trying to sort out some ducting now.

I also gave my gearbox a good clean.


Also been looking at the looms, got some new felt tape so going to strip it back, change the plugs to the clio ones and 're tape it.

Plans for this week is to clean up the engine bay, make up the heatshield for the master cylinder and get the engine and box back in the bay! From then on should be a lot easier.

Planning to book it into Chris at efi last week in August!

So my gearstick gaiter and knob arrived.

So I swapped the gaiters over and fitted it to the Car.


So I then realised that the gearknob I already had was a renaultsport logo, so swapped them over.

It's not too bad, but I'll probably get my other one retrimmed in a perforated leather/alcantara with red stitching to match my steering wheel.

So a little update.


Still got my Loom and all the pipe work to do but it's in!

So any pics or advice on water hoses mainly the electric w/pump routing I'm using a clio rad.

And this happened, not that I wanted it to.

So no more aircon, down to my 3" decat rubbing the small cylinder in the pipe!!! It's a Cup anyway!

Wasn't happy with the intercooler position so I made a new tank to get around the leg whilst using the clio rad. This was my progress for this evening, took 3 hours. I've Just got to make a scoop for it now.

daft one for the admin/mods, is it something hes doing or where hes posting from? his photos always have about two pictures worth of white after the post?? (internet explorer 11 upto date as its a works pc)

Strangely looks ok on my iPhone in latest safari... but pages of white space must irritate someone unless it’s a work pc thing?

Not finished as I want to make a panel to reduce the heatsoak to the air filter.

Going to fabricate a duct around the intercooler too.

Mapping is booked for the 29th at Efi!

Considering going satin black with the sprint spoiler, along with a matching F1 roof decal??

With the oz's in satin could look good.

Thanks it's getting there. There is a few marks around it, as to be expected but I will get around to addressing it at some point.
