    So these arrived today.

Hopefully now the weather's changing I might be able to a bit.

Doesn't look like I'll get it to work as we're far to busy after having 3 race cars have accidents at snetterton plus all the other work we had Already!

And I think my garage is too small.

So I did manage after putting our youngest 2 to bed and moving cars about, got it Jacked up and on stands ready to go.

Took this with the phase 1 reflection.

One thing that got me was the manual mirrors!
Even my old S2 Rst had electric mirrors.

I suppose That's what I get for buying a Cup.

So after a bit of a late start this evening, I managed to do this.
Only had an hour before it was getting dark.

    So it begins.
Can already see issue's for the header tank as I intend on keeping the ac.

this is where my is fitted..not ideal but does the job..other option would be to relocate your battery in the boot.. P_20170513_172717.jpg

    Thanks Pav,
I'll look into it. Don't really want to relocate the Battery though.

Get a red top battery and lay it flat in the original position mate. Free up some space then.

Another alternative is the 1*2 header tank over near the upper engine stabiliser mate.
There's always a way mate! I proved that with my mk2 header tank. Lol

The issue is the aircon pipes run on the rh side next to the upper stabiliser.

If I have to I'll make up an Ali one.

So I've made a little progress and the engine is almost out. Just the gearbox oil, pull the shafts and lift it out.
    20180425_210453.jpg
I took the complet legs out to clean them up at the same time.

And whilst I was at it I trial fitted my bonnet.

Amazing progress mate, this is exactly what I wanted for the old girl. Will have to have a look at it once it is done.

I put my discs in the ultrasonic at work.
They were looking a little rusty.
