I think you may miss the "fun" factor of the 182 but the 197 is a far more confident car

Welcome,a few things to check before you pick her up.
Wear on seats and steering wheel.Rubers on the front edge of the rear side windows where the door shuts on to them.
Check it drives straight and the steering wheel is central.
Kangarooing when pulling away,smooth gear change action.
If its under 3 years old you can extend the Renault w'tee by 1 or 2 years.
All the above will be covered on Waranty .

Its always best to check mate. Mine had 10700 & is a 57 plate. The door seals were falling off although the steering wheels been fine. Also worht checking the glove box lid sits flush with the dash. I have noticed on the renaultsport forums the recaro bolsters tend to last about 10,000 miles, seen it happening on 200's. For all of its misgivings it is by far the best hot hatch to drive today. Enjoy!
