Intermittent wipers all or nothing

Hi everyone

Got a bit of an odd problem with my wipers.

On the intermittent setting the speed adjuster does nothing, theyre just flat out. I have also had the wipers stop randomly in the middle of the screen when theyre turned off.

Is this more likely to be the stalk, the motor or something else entirely?

With the speed adjuster not working I would say stalk mate.

Cheers guys. I had a lot of water In the scuttle so i would assume the motor is toast!
