Has anyone used this kind of service?

Angel suggested that I visit these guys to have my (brand new) gear box sorted before it goes on the car. It's a costly process at £400 for a full gearbox, but I'm wondering what people's opinions might be when it came to strengthening the internals and prolonging the life of the gearbox so the synchros don't go.

Oscar360 has had his gearbox done, I shall be doing the same when it comes to sticking a diff in.

Pete: is that £400 for the whole box or just the internals?

My humble opinion is - only do the syncros, from what I've read- nothing else seems to fail. Mines ok at 300bhp?

Angel, the internals are cheaper, but I'm assuming that you need to strip the gear box down and just provide them with the syncros, which I feel like is more hassle?
