ex Nimbus r27r #2054

Hi Simo,

I see they have gone back to separate height adjustment independent from the pre-load  However have you had any problems with the drop link bracket hitting your wheels on full lock?

Cheers

Thanks for the info. Though I just sent my spare OEM wheels for powder coating...perhaps I should have used the money towards OZ!!

So I wonder why they have this problem then but stuff like Bilstein B14 does not? End of the day the ARB drop link is in the same position on all kits, so should be no reason for it :|

cheers

i never check about this problem so i cannot tell because it happens.... :worried:

this morning i ordered 330mm pfc from ktec but they tell me that they are not in stock and the manufacter doesn't know when they can be available..... ****ttt

there are others resellers? i want pfc, not others...

You tried the AP Racing 2 piece setup Simo?

I'm torn between another PF 330mm setup or the smaller 318mm (I think) AP Racing setup.

How is your new AST road coilover setup in terms of bumpyness/harshness on the road?

Simo where did you fir the battery mate?

Loving the ASTs, mine haven't got stainless steel bolts on the platforms..damn!lol

question, how come you didn't keep your own mounts and you bought the AST ones?

no, i don't know, there is a 318mm kit from ap? where hihihi
i like the quality of pf.. i think i'll go for them, i found an italian resell..
reference cod are 330.063.67/8
AST with 70/70 spring is an excellent compromise, i think i chose well, is not so hard on street but with my rear camber/toe setup my 197 has a very nice handling..
but i need to test better with a good trip on mountain.. soon i'll test better

yiannis i put battery into the passenger drawer.. i need to finish better the work but it's fine for me!
i've topred 25, now cable are more short and i can move the two seats without problems, i post you 2/3 bad quality pics..ahah
i found a good screw 10cm out the drawer for fit the black cable.. xfect!

for AST i chose complete of topmount because i think that a kit made for work together it's better than two brands way.. and my topmounts had 3/4 year.. (i sell my old suspension for 1550€ and take AST for 2250€) around 500£ for the change..

Excellent pics once again Simo.

What settings are you currently running on the suspension? I do love the oversteery AST behavior as it tunes out understeer which can only be a good thing, at my old 80/110 setup this was even more enhanced!
