Dry day, get the bucket and sponge ...quick!

Some pics of most recent wash/polish!

Finished my bottle of triplewax car polish so need suggestions for a new purchase, altho I did think it worked well! Also never have had any kinda sealer, what should I go for if any?

2nd pic shows new upgrade (kind of) windscreen mount for my new galaxy s3!
I can't get enough of autoglym bumper care, all my black bits always looking like new.

Used the last of my tesco wheel cleaner along with some turtle wax tyre wall...tesco stuff impressed me for £2 a bottle!

Of course it rained the next morning, such is life in Ireland!lol

Pretty unique car you have there. I haven't seen a blue diffuser like that before.

Can you see anything out of the back window with that giant Renault sticker in the middle of the screen?!?!

Yea, not everyone likes the blue diffuser, alot think it takes away a bit from the 197 look, probably right but I like it, admittedly wasn't my idea nor my project but I was happy to pick this up from shelbourne (they like to advertise with BIG stickers, lol) with the few unique touches done.

Interior continues the albi theme.

What spoiler is that anyway mate? Have you had your car serviced with Shelbourne before? I'm booked in 2nd week in September for a service.

I think it's the 'dynamique spoiler', I'm gonna guess so-called because it may come as part of the clio dynamique spec?

They serviced the car before I bought it just, did cambelt/aircon etc. Good bunch to deal with, I went back out not long ago because passenger side door wasn't locking (keyless entry button didn't lock). They got someone out to look at it straight away.

What shelbourne you going to? I'm sure it varies!

Whats the cost of a service if you don't mind me askin?

I’m taking it up to Shelbourne in Portadown. Friendly to deal with and a couple of people recommended me to them. The price of the major service is working out at £219. Though I will be needing the cambelt etc done later on in the year, for this I have been quoted £420.

£219 is reasonable, isn't it? Never have had to service a car before but I'm thinkin that's OK given the nature of the beast (197).

Also what about MOTs, sailed through my first MOT with her (her second) but how will it fair out 3rd time, could you go in without anywork on an 07? Very clean car. Not until next march but want to know what % pay I'm gonna have to leave aside!

Portadown sales team were good to me (sales teams usually are though, eh?). I've heard all good about them though, will be paying a visit about my aircon, either it doesn't work or its pish poor, just gonna call in ask? see what they say.

Enjoying the weather today everyone, I hope!

Yeah mate, £219 is a decent price. I only put mine through MOT last year, that was the cars first, and it sailed through with no problems. I would say you could put it through without any problem - maybe just get the handbrake checked over and the lights (usual things).

The aircon is known to be terrible. Mine is the same and there has been a fair few threads put up here about aircon.

Enjoying the usual rain here in Belfast!lol
