Cup suspension

Thinking of fitting cup suspension to my 197.
Can anyone tell me what the differences between standard and cup chassis? Is it just firmer springs? would there be any benefit from fitting cup springs to a standard 197?

cup chassis = stiffer /lower spings, stiffer dampers & thicker ARB's.

if your buying it brand new from Renault your best going the 200 cup's dampers and springs.

I've got a set of 197 Cup suspension for sale mate. only 4000miles from new and as new condition.

Nobody else seems to be interested they been on sale for months lol so i imagine i'd still have them avaliable.

KW Variant 3 mate, best mod u can do the handling has improved so much more over std.

How much did AMD charge fitted? I fancy some coils if I keep it.

£200 fitted mate.

Unless your real serious about driving/trackdays i'd go for the Variant 1s.

The V3s cost me £1300 and i rarely adjust them.

Yeah, I'll get V1's. I've driven a 197 with them on and it was awesome, even on cheap tyres!

Afraid not mate i havent used my car in months now, will be suprised if it even turns over anymore.
