I have the same issue... I did the belt, tensioner, alternator, clutch, crankshaft seals, dephaser. Only A/C and crank pully (despite looking completely fine) left to do...
Did you mean the one that sits in the end of crankshaft? There is no bearing inside that thing. The noise is similar to worn-out bearing noise. I’ll try to drop of the Aux belt. I’m hoping it’s aircon compressor.
