Cl10 ftw

I'm sure you will fall in lover with her over the euro trip all over again!

I don't know if that will be a good or bad thing. Because my head will be telling me I can save a whole lot more without running the 200 for a bit!

So glad you're taking it now. Can't wait to see it parked up next to mine looking much lower!

Me neither bud. Hopefully me and ed are doing them Saturday.

Great looking motor bud I had a 106gti and loved it but I was glad to see the back of it lol

Haha I.....along with many others know that exact feeling!!!

Glad you're starting to feel happier with the car again mate. Enjoy Europe, sounds like it'll be an awesome trip!

Awesome mate! Really glad you are staying! When are you going away for the Eurotrip? And where are you going?

That looks like one hell of a trip! Me and a few mates have been debating doing a Euro drive + Ring for our 25ths.
Glad to see you're becoming happier with the car, can't believe all the 200's that seem to be in Renault for Warranty work all the time, unreal.

Personally its something that HAS to be done. There's no other way to take in so many sights in one trip.

I certainly didnt expect to have this much hassle with a new car...was hoping to get away from it all when i sold the GTI!

Jelous mate looks a good route

Cant wait. Prep is coming along nicely.

How many days mate? I'm leaving on the 6th and more or less we are doing the same places. (even french riviera lol)
We might bump into:smile: Any other cars?

13 days this one. We did similar 2/3 years ago and just spent too long driving every day. We've scheduled in a whole day at Monaco this time round rather than a few hours. Cant wait to go up the Alps again. Last time it was all snow. This time it should be all greenery. EPIC.

There is 8 of us iirc. Me in the bright yellow 200. Ed and Zoe in the slammed euro new white Polo, Ste and Davo in a Passat/R26, and James (AKA Brendan from coach trip) in his red S2000.

The route:

The route from Dunkerque port, back to Dunkerque is 2500 miles and is briefly:

9th Monday: Meet in Dover for an afternoon crossing to Dunkerque. Spend the evening in Dunkerque.

10th Tuesday: Drive to Luxembourg via Spa, mostly motorway driving.

14th Saturday: Day off driving for a break*, only a short trip to Monaco to spend the day there. I'm half tempted to get the train to save on parking fees, but it would mean no lap of the F1 circuit. *I'm also tempted to drive the Col de Turini again, this would be about 70 miles/2 hours, could be something for the evening? Thoughts?

15th Sunday: Autostrada dei Fiori (50 miles of tunnels and bridges along the Mediterranean coast), up to Turin to the Lingotto (Fiat factory from The Italian Job, you can get onto the roof on foot), across to Monza (missed out last time) and Como for the evening.
