Hopefully this is the engine bay finished
Just waiting on a new hose for the expansion tank
And need to order the fire extinguisher mounts

Got a slight coolant leak from around the thermostat housing so new gasket and thermostat ordered
Everything is done so time for the MOT starting to get nervous now incase it fails on something silly or emmmisions

Well MOT booked for Friday at a unknown local garage to me
My only worry is the emissions but will be what it will be
So started a machine polish this evening on my days off

Enough for tonight, ran out of beer and next door moaning about the music
Time to let the diamond of excellent shine again and get rid of the black
Finished and she is now ready for MOT tomorrow
It is using a bit of coolant so that's a bit of a worry
Slight leak around the thermostat housing gasket and the new gasket arrives tomorrow so it will have to wait
My other fear is the water seals in the turbo are passing and I do get a bit of vapour at the end of the exhaust
So just have to see how tomorrow goes

Oh and one of the tires is getting close to the strips
So stuck a set of 197 wheels on with nice new PS4 on for its visit tomorrow
Not a 100% as don't really now what it all means

Got a few options
Buy and weld in a miltek sports cat 200 cel - was built with one of these originally
Remove the center section and knock up a temporary center section with the old secondary CAT from my old Clio and another sports CAT
400 cel CAT from eBay and have it removable with the current CAT for MOTs use v bands so a simple swap in and out

Bit disheartened today after that fail
But emissions are out of my control and need a machine to tell me
But the tester was very complimentary of the car and it's come a long way since the day I collected it
Went for an Italian tune on the way to the station it's an absolute hooligan of a car haha
