Chris's LY 200t.

Pears soap purchased.
Got some TPI bolts to fit
Callipers in desperate need of a clean
Arches need a full clean

Going to be a busy weekend - lets hope I can find some 'BA'... usually I have 'CBA' on a sunday.

You got the dreaded MK4 rusty-wheel bolt thing going on ? TPI's sound good though

Looking forward to some pics Chris. You taking wheels off for a full arch / caliper clean-up ? Forecast is looking ok'ish...with high winds this way.

"Look" ? I can nearly see my reflection !

That is a stunning weekend effort bud. Looks fantastic now. How long did that take ?

Thanks mate

About an hour perhaps a bit longer, Renault really did not make the 200ts bay cleaner friendly lol. Every nook and cranny you want to clean something is blocking it!

To get deeper is nigh on impossible, there's places inside I just couldn't physically get too if I cared for my knuckles!

Thats brilliant ! I was expecting you to say double-that from the finished product

Yes; bleeding knuckles and scraped fingers are par for the course if your cleaning an engine bay.

I spend 10 mins on mine a couple of times a week. If i wanna get out of the house (Away from the wife....) for a while i pop-in and have a potter. Just keeps ontop of it.....

Well I could have easily spent that time on it - just as I said the lower parts of the bay is still not as I'd like, perhaps when I haven't got a gale force threatening to drop the boot on my head lol.

Yeah a wipe down once or twice a week would be the way forward, would never need to spend an hour on it again! (Might try that when the gf is nagging...)

I didnt say i went out every-time the wife nagged. Otherwise i'd have the cleanest engine in the World

Long sticks with rags wrapped round them are the future..........

Haha well maybe just a major nag then!

Well I've considered wheel Woolies! Only so far detailing brushes reach!

Glad you managed to devote some time to the Clio in the end Chris  well worth the effort by the looks of that! That bay does definitely seem very 'busy' when it comes to cleaning!

Hope the domestic stuff went well too buddy
