Bit of help please.....

My car has developed a knocking when cold as soon as it's warm it goes away. Sounds like it coming from the front right corner. When I put my foot on throttle and back off going along.

If i grabengine and wiggle it there is play I'm this



Has play in it. And engine side it moves up and
Down a bit as well. Do you think I need to change this?

Not 100percent what it's called or where to look?

Def be the engine mount I had to replace mine had same symptoms as yours! There pretty easy to replace.

Yep engine mount should be a easy fix.

I am talking about the silver part. Thought it was a stabiliser bar or something

Yeah its the stabilising engine mount think I got one for bout 40 pound

Top stabiliser mount; Part No. 8200 298484 ... I think you can only get them from Renault. Mine cost around £55 with VAT from my local dealer. Took around an hour to fit myself.

Exactly the same issue I have. I couldn't find any play at all which is annoying but I'm still convinced its engine mounts

Heat from the engine softens the rubber up
