Just finished fitting the Wheeler Motorsport shift tower what a great bit of kit! Perfectly positioned like the Pure motorsport version and bringing the shift cables through the bulkhead keeps them well clear of the manifold.

Few little bits done yesterday and some new parts arriving for the Supercharger conversion. Collected the dash from Raj at Autofloc yesterday, hes works absolutely faultless! Removed the sound deadening/matting from behind the upper dash before refitting.
Tial Q Bov with the correct Supercharger spring and a push fitting, will tap the manifold to suit. Welded a -10 fitting onto the breather box to do away with the PCV valve.
New lightweight crank pulley. Will get everything built back up this week with a new cambelt kit/water pump.

So got a bit done this weekend! I decided to sandblast a load of the ally bits while the engine was apart was going to paint them and crackle red the cam box but they just came out bad so took them to get vapour blasted and came up better than new! Literally gobsmacked! A few coats of matt lacquer and they've gone such a good colour! Managed to squeeze a few hours in this afternoon! Got the inlet and throttle body back from Dave Young this week who ported and gas flowed them. Absolutely fantastic job and price! Very fast turn around couldn't ask for more! Tapped the original locations for the push fittings for the map / bov and thought I'd have another go with the crackle paint. Painted it with some matt black first so I could put the crackle paint on a bit thinner and it's turned out great, so happy with the result this time.
Booked in for mapping next Thursday at RS Tuning.

Trip to RS Tuning went trouble free and made decent power. Its absolutely transformed the car and can't wait to properly stretch its legs at Oulton next weekend. The diff is harder work than I expected at low speed on the road. Remade the map sensor bracket this week and thought Id check the geo, was miles out! Luckily the rear only took 1 x toe shim to get that back and re-set the front toe/camber. Given the front slightly less -toe and more -camber to try.

Why did you not go for a MAP sensor that fitted the existing position? I’m looking to SC mine and was just going to get a 2.5 bar sensor from a DCi.

Which spring rating do you have for the BOV?

Thanks buddy! Because they just move around and generally leak before they've been boosted so just welded the original hole up and used these fittings. Not a chance of any boost leaks that way. I'm using the red spring.
 
Few random bits to add, firstly after chatting to a customer that hill climbs/sprints and uses Gripper diffs he advised I add a bottle of Redline friction modifier (alot of them use it apparently)! so went with his word and pulled some oil out and re filled through the breather. After a few winter track days looming and only a few sets of worn semi slicks we decided to get some proper wet's to try, managed to source a set of decent used wets and slicks each for me and a mate from a Polish chap for a great price! So just got back from a very wet but absolutely amazing day at Oulton Park. First outing since its been in bits and I'm chuffed to bits. So happy and not an issue all day (bar a few pilot errors)! The diff and supercharger has just totally transformed the car more than I ever expected! Considering really they're just bolt on bits on a standard bottom end/head. Even on the wet track the grip and turn in was so good, felt so confident in it. Really wasn't sure what to expect with it having another 100bhp and being wet but feel another 50 wouldn't be a problem. Best time of the day was 2.09 before the phone went flat which Im happy with considering the weather, came down from 2.16. Cannot wait to do some dry laps in it on the slicks next summer. Have you have any oil leaking past the seal on the SC? From what I’ve read you need to mount the reservoir and filter lower than the shaft of the SC?!

Did you make your own intercooler and pipe work?

It's on the list of jobs to do tbh but no I've had no leaks and spoken to the chap from Uk Supercharger repairs and he said it would be ok . . . BUT when I get a spare few hours Il stil whip the bumper off and make some brackets I think
