B14s for fast road / occasional track day use, then it goes way up in cost from there.

Sway bars and braces will only do so much. I think the clio is a rather tall car and you need to drop it and stiffen up the spring rates to really get good road handling out of the car.
 
i fully rate the DNA racing adjustable rear ARB, wiped out understeer and improved turn in dramatically for me
 
Best thing I did to my car was refreshing anything 'tired looking / feeling' on the suspension, even if they weren't exactly 'worn out', together with getting B14s. Drove like a brand new car after. If I ever sell it and decice to get another 200 in the future, I'd get a cheap one and just refresh pretty much anything suspension related.
