Airbox lid removal - confirmed power loss

This is the result of dyno runs yesterday on my completely stock clio 200. A significant power loss is recorded with the airbox lid removed. No matter how good that induction bark sounds, its not worth the 15bhp loss in power

OYeah that standard airbox is complex - but justified as it clearly works well in standard form. Are these engines MAF-less?

Also how does 169bhp stack up with other Clio 200 atw power figures? I know that different dynos give different figures, but a couple of other clios were running about 150bhp atw

I ran 176bhp @ the wheels.

That was standard.

Remember different garages run them on the dyno differently and dyno calibrations are diffferent.
