Advice please.

I have a bit of a dilemma, my front drivers side spring has broke and are around £120 to buy a spring or do I just buy eibachs as I can get a full set for £180 ?

You can find the springs here for cheaper than you mentioned, just make sure you select the correct one

The guys over at RPD are great and shipping is always very quick.

Getting an Eibach kit would be another option, but obviously you would have to factor in even more for the labour cost as you will be replacing all the springs and not just the one.

Personally I'd go for the eibachs as when changing anything suspension-related it's best to do them in pairs. They'll therefore work out cheaper overall.

I have the cup suspension , Clio 200 , new top mounts 2011 year.
I can get the eibachs fitted for £80 from a Renault specialist in Doncaster.

Just to throw a curveball in, the same thing happened to me and I opted for eibachs all around (my car has the cup pack). The springs seem very "bouncy" compared to cup springs. Cup springs were probably a bit more crashy, but I think I preferred that rather than being bounced all over the place. However, on a decent road the car feels great on the eibachs.

If I were to choose again I'd try different springs or just replace the cup springs (as a pair).

I've read on the forum that the H&R springs are very stiff like the cup suspension.

Yeah mines a 2012 cup so had newer top mounts. And it was yes

I saw it Friday as i popped into see rich at DDC
I was very impressed , lovely car fella.

go Eibach's mate..good price and performance too..i had them on mine and they were really good...
