AC condenser replace

Tonights job is to replace the AC condenser in my 200.

Hoping it's as straightforward as front end off and there it is ?

Any words of advice would be greatful :sunglasses:
 
Piece of cake. You don't even need to take the front bumper off completely, just undo the bolts holding the bumper on at the inner arches, and the bolts holding the bumper to the slam panel, then pull the bumper down. From memory you have to unbolt the horn to get more room to wiggle the condenser out of the car. Few bolts to remove the condenser itself, few 10mm bolts to undo the aircon pipes, and it'll come out.

Nice one! I've got a little 3/8 impact gun so the few extra bolts to remove the bumper won't be a problem.

Gives me chance to have a nose about and clean up too.
 
Sod all gas in it. Only had a tiny hiss on removal. Will get it re gassed and fingers crossed it will work.
