leave it in sports mode for now (auto or manual mode) as traction can be a problem, pull the paddles back whilst you have your foot on the brake. When it says "launch control" on the dash floor the accelerator whilst on the brake, then get ready to hold on lol!

To be honest I have used launch control on the road. It was in an empty business park at 11:30 pm on a Saturday night with the odd lady of the night hanging around!
