Hiya, after a bit of advice. I'm thinking of sorning the Clio for a few months because of cash flow problems, but wondering if it would cause expense/ damage to battery, tyres etc? My intention would be to leave handbrake off, then drive around my road (which happens to be private) every couple...
Had my wheels refurbed back in march/April and now the paint on one of them has gone a bit 'crinkly' for want of a better word. Anyone seen this before? Will it get worse? Got a year's warranty so should be able to take it back but wondering if I should wait and see if it occurs anywhere else...
Well after quite a few weekend's work, we've finally finished refurbing the calipers and got them back on the Clio with the refurbed wheels - these are the ones I had to get the wheel company to redo but really pleased with em. Had all the wheel bolts, nuts, brackets etc nickel plated and theyve...
So, I've had a lovely drive out in the clio, and on the way home I'm going past a field where a tractor is bumbling along, kicking up dust etc. Next thing I know I hear a massive couple of 'donks' and I now have two dents on my driver's door. Grrrr....
So I need to get them fixed and wondered...
Up until today I have been successfully refurbing the front and rear callipers, but upon trying to put the back ones back together I have broken the adjustment mechanism that sits inside the piston and the circlip too :-(. Does anyone know where i can get one? Or maybe has an old calliper i...
I decided to get my alloys refurbed as there were a few scuffs, blistering etc and went to pick them up today. However, was very disappointed in the quality of the refurb. They've sorted out most (but not all) of the scuffs, but my main gripe was a number of areas where it looks like dirt/dust...
For people that have used this, how many wheels can be treated with 15ml bottle?, I need to seal 12 alloys. Also can it be used on satin black alloys?.
Is there a product specifically for removing dried water spots?.
Also what is considered the best bug remover, preferably something that dissolves, rather than rubbing.
Hiya,
I'm due to take my 197 to get all the belts done and serviced in the next few months so a big service. I'm thinking of taking it to Ktec, but am wondering about using RenaultSpeed in Farnborough as they're a bit close to me - has anyone used them? any good?
Any feedback welcome cheers!
I have a clio id like to sell, and advertise on this site. I'm currently not a paid member, do i have to join to use the for sale section?, as i cant get access at mo.
As above, is this something that just happens with use?, had the fog lights on for an hour or so driving at weekend, now the glass on them has misted, not completely either, its not condensation, could be the heat from the bulbs perhaps?.
Anyone elses done this?
The rear cup holder behind the hand brake has a hole facing at an angle towards the front on my 200, anyone know why?, what's it for?.
Checked my partners 197 and it doesn't have one.
Hi, I've been stupid enough to scrape the rear bumper on my albi blue 197 and now need to get it repaired (there's a slight crack too). I'm ultra fussy so need a top quality repair. does anyone know of a good repairer in the Berkshire or Hampshire area? (or potentially further as I'm prepared to...
I have decided to replace one anthracite cup alloy for a new one on my 200, and keep the old as a spare, was wandering what sort of prices have you seen these for?.
Seems that around £230 is about right, anywhere cheaper?.
