Fitted my ktech and decat this afternoon and it sounds so much better than standard

I'm from clitheroe and its the BB postcodes that are bad. So mine is quite high. Think there were quite a few groups of people crashing into the back of each other so that they could claim.

If i were to fit it myself. how does the decat connect? i have it already connected to my cat back exhaust

Just wondering what people paid to get their exhausts fitted before I book it in to get fitted.

I'm just wondering what the advantages are of changing the filter? If there are any, what kind of filters would people recommend?

It goes sidelights, dipped beam and main beam. Your dipped beams are your normal headlights

You can fit some HID bulbs in your dipped beam. Had them in my car and imo they are miles better than any kind of bulb.

its a 200

I have just been trying to get the dipped beam bulb out of headlight and after forcing my hand into the tight gaps I can't seem to get the bulb out. Is it clipped in or does it twist out?

I know they look so much better but wasn't expecting them to be that much. I'll have to have a think about it.

I am looking into buying some projector headlights for my 200. Where have people bought theres from and how much? Cheers

Are the gearboxes in the 200 the same as the 197? If they aren't are they just as bad?

Ye. I saw its about 2000 for a gearbox from Renault inc labour. Did they change the gearbox on the 200 or is it just as bad?

Ye I have seen people getting contributions which has eased my worrys slightly. Are they still giving contributions to people who haven't bought the cars from a Renault garage?

Hello. I'm look at buying a Clio 197 but after reading all the problems about the gearboxes it has slightly put me off. The car I am looking at is a 58 plate with 30,000 miles. How much will it cost if the gearbox does go? Is there anyway of telling whether the gearbox is likely to go?
