    Places To Stay Near Silverstone

Closest would be Travelodge @ Towcester, but is probably booked up by now. Holiday inn @ Wootton Northampton by junction 15 of M1. Is only 15 minutes from the track. And a nice blast if you take the back rounds through the villages

    Reyland floating 330 discs?

I know you've got your mind set on bigger brakes but have you regularly serviced your current brakes. I've found that they really suffer without a regular service. I've just done mine after 18months of ownership to find the inner front pads were not moving as they should and one of the rears was...

    Brake strip down and clean

If your not replacing pads you won't need a wind back tool or pad spreader, just tools, brake cleaner and copper grease. If your brakes were done recently then it should be straight forward. Hopefully no stubbon front calliper pins! They're normally the most troublesome bit.

Thanks @Micah you've described exactly what I tried, guess it's just pretty stuck, will try a combo of thin pallet knife on the clips and a bit more force.

    Tips for removing rear diffuser..

Evening all, I'm having some issues removing my rear diffuser. I've removed the 2 nuts at the front and 2 screws in the back corners no problem, but I'm struggling to unclip it from the bumper below the number plate. Does anyone have any tips or techniques they can share? I imagine once I've...

    Brake pedal "feel" ?

Thanks for reporting back! Air is the logical culprit. I'm experiencing a similar thing at the moment despite bleeding the system in Feb. I've plenty of meat on the pads still so think I'll strip, clean, reassemble and bleed all round again. Hopefully that will resolve things.

Is there more than one camshaft position sensor type?

Thanks for the diagrams and part number lists @turkie172, unfortunately none of those listed were the same part number. Found the part number on the sensor in one of the grooves by the bolt hole (P/N 8200963886). I'm not sure why it's a different part number, perhaps the part numbers for the UK...

Is there more than one camshaft position sensor type?

Morning all, I've just got round to fitting my new camshaft position sensor this morning, however the one I've taken off is very different to the new one which is listed for the 200. Does anybody know if there is more than one type of camshaft position sensor for the 200? This is the sensor...

Loss of power when engine is hot

@Dystant Thanks for the conclusion, and no worries on the copy & paste, I'd of done the same I've been having similar issues of late. Already discovered a binding rear caliper which improved things once fixed, although it's still not pulling through the rev range as it should. Camshaft sensor's...
