    GW 200 CUP (clubsport->racecar->v2)

    IMO dropping the engine in and sending it sounds like the way to go. You'll have a race car ready to go and an upgraded engine to take your time with over the season.

    Dead wheel bearing?

    I managed to get one off a spare set of hubs that seems less shagged! I’ll attempt to swap it over in situ tomorrow

    Dead wheel bearing?

    About the same, it doesn’t seem to make any difference

    Dead wheel bearing?

    Opinions wanted, Annoyingly I've noticed some play in the driver side hub after getting all the suspension back onto the car. We're thinking it might be from sliding laterally across a kerb during our Snetterton mishap I've attached a clip of it below and a picture of behind. I'm assuming...

    GW 200 CUP (clubsport->racecar->v2)

    You’ve got some crap luck with engines, glad you’re not discouraged as I can’t wait to see this racing!

    Could be wrong but I'm fairly sure you need this style radio as well

    Glacier White 200 Cup

    We may have sourced a white 200 bumper already, I might be able to rest easy knowing people are less likely to confuse it with a 1.5 dci clio :relieved:

    Glacier White 200 Cup

    I will say the stiffened rear beam has made a massive difference in the rotation you get with a bit of trailbraking and just general corner entry too. It feels great when you get it right :sweatsmile: I didn’t catch the dodgy gear change initially but you’re right, the lurch forwards from...

    Engine / Gearbox Mounts & Vibration

    Not sure if you can see it from the top, but i’d be surprised if it was missing and it drove without any horrific knocking/banging. You’d be able to rock the engine back and forth a lot

    Engine / Gearbox Mounts & Vibration

    Sounds like it’s just the powerflex bush to me. I get exactly the same with powerflex bushes all round. There’s a lower engine mount which you'll need to get under the car to see and a gearbox mount which is under the battery tray.

    Mike's racing blue 197

    I remember laughing when I read loads of people had done this and then did exactly the same on the second hammer swing. Just before a winter track day as well, not ideal :think:

    Helicoil Sizes

    I believe the brake line bracket bolt is m6, definitely needed or it’ll rub away. Coil pack thread is quite a common issue apparently, m6 too i believe. there are stud and nut kits sold to try and stop the issue. Can’t see why you wouldn’t be able drill it out and helicoil it...
