Retro fitting RS Monitor to a 197

Hi everyone,
Have been looking at the RS Monitors and see people retro fit them to the 200 but not 197 is it possible to do so and if so what will I need and also some of the steps. I know you need the monitor, the renault clip diagnostic but what else. First time posting here .

Could be wrong but I'm fairly sure you need this style radio as well

Do u know why u need the unit and can't just have any?

The display needs the head unit to work properly, also if it's a 197 you'll need 200 instrument panel (dials) to get that head unit to work...

Not particularly but those head units only work with later dials, something to do with the CAN bus network...

Okay with the stereo is the connection different on mine to the one that goes to the 200
