£1300 to spend, Opinions needed!

Any more feedback on these? Any pics?

No pics as i've been at work for weeks on duty so not been home.

More feedback from the setup, its definately a setup that will benefit non cups more as with my vehicle i struggle to notice any major improvement on handling, it just generally feels more stable and less aggressive when pushing on.

I havent played with the settings yet but plan to firm them up abit and then see how i get on.

Ben.

Cool. If you do get a chance to get the numbers off the springs that would be really useful

No markings on the springs, both fronts and rears, and i've been through the instructions and i have every spec number except the spring rating.

Best off enquiring to KW, they seemed very good when i was looking into buying the kit.

there are numbers on the 3rd coil of the top shock in your pic but dont worry if you cant see them.

Yozza sport are hopefully sorting me out with something special

A few quick shots to last. Will get some more when i can actually afford to use the thing!

Such a whore with all those brand stickers :tongueout:

When you back down streamline then ben. I was there Thursday

Down streamline next weekend for some doorcards now u mention it lol.

Hey i admit i luv a sticker or two :tongueout:

Going out 2nite with CS so will get lots of pics.

Got the allen key out on the suspension and tightened all four corners up a few clicks.

What a difference it makes, the car has no give in the bumps now and feels like it doesnt even have suspension but body roll is a thing of the past lol, it sticks to the road like shit on a sheet now.

I think it would be useful If you write down how did you set up your suspension.

Certainly lol.

I always start off from fully tight to ensure all shocks are calibrated correctly.

From there 9 clicks clockwise on rebound and 5 click bump are what KW recommend for road setup, however i found this setup too comfort orientated.

After trying a few setups i find the best comprimise to use is 7 clicks rebound and 4 clicks bump.

Its about as stiff as you can go without unsettling the car over B-roads.

How does it handle on bumpy roads? I mean (if you have them in the UK) on really bumpy roads cause normal roads here are very ****ed up and when hammering my Clio through a corner and hitting a bump it seems to lose grip for a fraction or let's say a split second and the car moves maybe a bit outwards and then it gaines the grip back.

I could probably "fix" that if I had the V3 :tongue_smilie:

I friend has the V3 KWs on his AR 147. They are perfect :001_tt1: you can set it softer for the bumpy roads so the tyre has more grip and stiffer for the trackdays - just love it but it's so expensive :'(

Thats the beauty if your losing traction on the bumps just get the allen key out and soften up.

I find if you go too stiff the front tyres actually 'skip' across the road when pushing on.

Yeah that's what I ment. Thanks 8) looking forward to getting myself the V1s 8) hope that they are good too. The V3s are a bit expensive....
