There is space to pass a flexible pipe from the side of the radiator, throught the side and up right behind the headlight. It just wont be on the same diameter as the V6 entry, because that is huge.

Did a similar thing with my distribution box under the bay too. Mounted using the same hole on the battery/gearbox mounting tray

Though I haven't got a V6 mounting plate yet

How did you get your fuse box all the back at the ECU? Looks tidy there.

Also, one thing to be wary of, the intake pipe/elbow (whatever you want to call it) may rub on the scuttle. Seen a few (myself included) had to trim a bit of the scuttle down & also there's a bolt back there which hangs down, my mates rubbed on that too & he had to cut the bolt down haha

It’s a Weeder Motorsport plate. The holes could do with a bit of tweaking, and I also had to space it up with nuts as it doesn’t sit flat.
I extended 2 of the wires and then untaped the loom which runs by the chassis leg. Was pretty easy to do. Be sound for you given you’ve got all the tools.

Already cleared all that. Sawed the little tab off underneath and took a flap wheel to the plastic. Oh, and I cut the pipe down about 10mm on each end.

It passes the time whilst I’m ‘working’

I’ve spent a while this morning messing round with support settings, as my original ones have all gone to shit after changing nozzle size.

What nozzle size did you go up to? There are so many variables on 3D printers, me and Adam Thomas have been talking about how "secret" options in Cura for example, a lot of trail and error to see what works for you!

Ha yeah, I always slice something the night before and set it going in morning, joys of WFH.
Also printed my first Cockosaurus and sent it to a friend (as I printed him some angled spacers for his camera doorbell) :tearsofjoy:

Anyways we have made your Clio thread a 3D printer thread haha.

Yeah basically the exact same I did with the scuttle panel.

Good idea on cutting the hose down actually, I hadn't thought of that. May do the same as it's a mega tight fit in there.

May also look at doing the same with the fuse boxes. I just have mine cable tied up at the moment

It’s cut the print time of my brake ducts in half, but I’m not happy with the surface finish of the material which is lay onto the supports.

The way it’s going, I’ll probably end up just printing parts which don’t need supports with it.

It’s worth doing. I’ve got about a 5mm gap now.

I still need to mount the box properly, as it’s just cable tied around the ecu atm. I just didn’t want it tied up down the front

will see how long this setup lasts. Silicon is because my alternator regulator has split open. So I’ve gone for a more is better kinda re-seal attempt.

I shall print a cap which I can put in the back of the old pump so that it doesn’t end up filling full of crap.

First time I’ve washed it since before I went ring in October :flushed:
Also dropped a parcel off at the shop earlier on, and I’m certain there’s a big difference in the power output when up in the high revs. Little disappointed that I can’t hear any more induction from the V6 box though.

I think ultimately it’ll need mapping to make the most of the latest mods.

I feel exact same way about my airbox

I think there is a huge kick in power compared to what it used to be, feels more torquey and urgent in the upper revs

But also the induction noise isn't drastically different. From what I'd heard & seen the noise was suppose to be a lot louder but it's not loud by any means. Sounds good though don't get me wrong

Before it just seemed to make a noise. But now it just keeps pulling. Shall soon see if there’s a difference when I’m at Cadwell next month.

I think a lot of the noise must be drowned out by my exhaust tbf.
 
I find the noise is more channelled with the v6, you can hear it more from in front of the car and outside the car than you can inside

The previous owner saw it and dropped me a message. It doesn’t look like much, but it’s crazy to see how much has changed..... just wish the paint was as tidy as it used to be!
