I thought i’d seen you doing some racing in the Civic on Instagram this weekend, then I thought i’d imagined it until popping on here for a mooch.
Be interested in reading some racing updates too!

Had a quick check over the other day and repositioned it and it feels lovely. Again I havent been able to drive it much due to no mot and more civic stuff nut yeah its good..

So my car has been making a god awful noise recently and I've been checking stuff over and the only thing I could find is the new drop links are rubbing the shock tower so ive had to back the camber off a mm not that you can notice but we went to Donington on Wednesday and it started raining in the morning so at 11 I looked at the weather forecast it said rain all day and swapped the tyres over to the rain sports and what a difference they made.

Video is just being uploaded now..

And as you can tell by a question in the other section I think I might have a small issue with my clutch..

Ah yes I recognized the Clio arriving from the pictures on the forum I thought there would be some Meg Clio's there as I have never seen one in the wild yet. Let us know how you deal with the clutch/gear issue the shifter looks very good without having the cut the center console plastics to fit it. The weather got no better until mid day Sunday the sevens and classics showed up Monday as we left the track.

Sorry its been a while had another project on the go...

My new crib. 20201015_105040.jpg

Sadly I've neglected the car for a few weeks whilst this has been getting sorted we have e ripped all the carpets out painted the whole house and got all new carpets and now are just emptying boxes. The civic has also got a issue im sorting tomorrow so can't even clean it.

However for the clutch issue I've got a new clutch fluid the braided clutch line from ktr to go in ive also got pbs pads all round to try.

So regardless of me not cleaning it I have gathered a healthy supply of parts to fit over the coming weeks ive got a new clutch fluids and a damper delete from ktec just because its something I wanted to do for a while. No pics but I did stop today and get some.. 20201107_074812.jpg20201107_074810.jpg20201107_074726.jpg20201107_074716.jpg20201107_074704.jpg

Found a very wet slave

20201115_142133.jpg20201115_142135.jpg

Then when removing the clutch i found something that should be connected

20201116_094235.jpg20201116_094242.jpg

One of the rivets had snapped off..

Even got a little video of the whole lot

Then thought my brakes could do with some tlc..

Good job I had the pbs on hand ready to go in..

Went for a drive with the braided clutch line and new pads and all fees good clutch pedal feels more like a cable one. And is nice more testing is required.

Also need to put my rear pads and put the lock wire on the front pins..

Dropping the gearbox is never a fun job haha! Seems to be quite common with clutches on these. pressure plates breaking haha

Lucky you’ve caught it before it got you stranded.
Happened to my mate at Blyton Park, and stranded him as it took his crank sensor out.
