Alien Green 200 Cup *** New AG 200 (number 3) from page 85***

Third AG 200! Keep coming back yes mate? Glad to see you are sticking around:smile: what made you sell the second then?

2nd child arriving earlier that scheduled. To appease the Mrs basically. Though as I've said, this one is a third/hobby car and not a daily so this one is staying.

Emptied everything out, stuck the Clio in then thought, this stuff aint going back in :grinning:

Managed to Tetris it in the end. The plan is to get a shed before spring and all that stuff at the front can go in there.
Surprised you don’t have palpitations clambering over The recaro’s... bolster wear is real ... lol

Good work on the projectors, I got some for my 197, only crap thing is, like most Renault's the light output is so rubbish, I've tried so many bulbs, I finally got some LED bulbs and it makes such a massive difference! So easy to fit and fit with covers on.

I got the following:

KATUR H1 Led Headlight Bulbs Mini Design Upgraded CREE Chips Extremely Bright 12000 Lumens Waterproof All-in-One LED Headlight Conversion Kit 55W 6500K Xenon White-2 Years Waranty https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07QVBYBPX/?tag=clio197-21

Did you have to cut the dust cover or did it fit?

Nope, I thought I said above cover fitted fine? This is on a 197, I assume 200 will be same?
Just take off the adapter and lock it into the headlight like you would a normal bulb.
Then pull out the earth (it's plugged into the housing for a normal H1 bulb), then plug in two leads on the LED and push into the housing you've already put in.
Making sure orientation is facing up (or look at the original H1 bulb for reference.

First trackday of the year is booked for the start of May. Went with Opentrack (first time I've booked through them) and their full day event at Knockhill.

Seems like an awful long way away but I have many things I want to do to the car before this (Essentials being brakes and wheels/tyres).

I would go with some Dunlop DZ03g's. I had some Cup2's on my 220 Trophy 18 months ago and killed them in 1 day around Donington Park.

What suspension will you be going with?

PS nice wheels

Thanks for this info. Sticking with the Cooksport springs on cup dampers at the moment. I'd love coilovers but probably won't happen.

Dz03g or AR1s if your doing down semi route..

otherwise just go full slicks
I still need to be road legal to drive to track so semi slick route it is.

AR1s look nearly like a slick but are £30 cheaper per tyre over the Dunlop's.

Cup 2 will be fine if you don't push them to hard and run the correct hot pressures (36 psi)

I've ran PS4 on mine for an absolute age and done quite a few trackdays on them, inc a full day at the ring in the dry. I've just stuck with the above pressures and they've been fine.

If your sticking with a spring and OE damper setup I would probably sway towards a 225/45/17 AD08R then. Fully road legal and a great all round tyre
